Antique Georgian Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

A characterful yet sturdy rich mahogany bow fronted Chest of Drawers, each drawer has a beautiful walnut grain to the front, with a configuration of 2 short over 2 long graduating drawers with original bun handles and cock beading to the outer edges. There are signs of age and use to the piece, which is noticeable in some of the beading missing, further details in the condition report. Drawers would benefit from the use of drawer liners due to age and wear in the wood to avoid snags.
Atop sits a freestanding pivoting mirror in the same wood finish.
The piece has been cleaned down, the sides had some of the finish peeling so this has been scrapped back and then wire wool waxed and buffed.

Condition: The piece does have noticeable signs of wear, but this does I feel add to the age and character of the piece, there are scuffs and scratches to the wood, some areas of beading missing, chips to the edges of the drawers’ slots and legs from household cleaning. Photos have been taken of these areas.
