A beautiful late 19th‑century ebonized console table, likely dating to around 1875. This elegant piece cleverly converts into a royal blue baize games table, making it both decorative and practical.
The table has well‑balanced proportions and an aged finish in keeping with its enjoyed use over the years. When opened, it reveals a smooth blue baize playing surface, ideal for cards and other games and as you twist to open it has a compartment to store that game materials.
It features brass fittings in the original style and stands on porcelain castors, so it can be moved easily while still looking refined and traditional.
A rare and desirable Victorian convertible table, combining quality craftsmanship with useful design.

Condition: As with any Antique piece it does show signs of its age, with missing sections of brass detail. The ebonized top has prominent scuffs where the top has been twisted while open. All areas have been photographed, please review .
