Burr Walnut Compact Gentleman’s Wardrobe

This is an elegantly simple compact gentleman’s wardrobe, finished in a burr walnut veneer which has a very distinct grain adding an eye-catching element to the design.

You have double doors that open, with ornate metal handles and original key, the left also has locking snibs top and bottom and both are hinged and the right has a stud’s compartment and original maker’s mark. This opens to a pull-out front hanging rail and to the right, four storage pigeonholes still with original labels. Below this are two reasonably sized drawers.

Dimensions: H163cm – W84cm – D48cm – Rail, Hanging drop H101cm – D31cm – Pigeonhole H25cm – Drawers W73cm – D37cm H11.5cm and 14cm.

Condition:  As with any Vintage piece it does show signs of its age in areas, the burr walnut veneer sadly has many scratches, chips indents and scuffs. The piece has been buffed with a nourishing oil which has improved many of the marks. Photos have been taken of these areas.
