Danish style mid-century round extendable butterfly leaf dining table from the 1970s G Plan range. There is an attractive detail to the edge of the tabletop, and four matching ladderback teak chairs. These are solid, heavy items in a classic vintage style, and the wood has a beautifully warm colour and grain.

G Plan – E. Gomme Ltd was a pioneering furniture maker based in High Wycombe, England, a major center of British furniture manufacturing.

Dimensions: Table: H 74cm – D107cm  Extended W 107cm and L 152cm      Chairs: H78cm  Seat H44cm D44cm W47cm

Condition: The chairs are all solid with light signs of wear consistent with their age, with some paint scuffing and one dowel requiring attention. They also require re-upholstering as the seat pads have been removed.

The table is solid with the expected age-related wear, including a few surface scratches, and no discernible difference in colour between the main round table and the extending butterfly leaf. The extending mechanism runs smooth. Photos have been taken of these areas.
